Sassy/Unchained Melody the "Theme from Ghost"????

Sassy, do you remember when it was the theme music to the old Richard Boone series, "Medic"?
====
No, I don't. I remember Richard Boone in an old television series called "Palladin", but nothing called "Medic".

Remember all those old westerns? Cheyenne, Sugarfoot, Maverick, Bronco, The Rifleman, etc????

Sassy, you've just dated yourself -- but not as much as I have. "Palladin", huh? That must have been what they called "Have Gun, Will Travel" in syndication. "Medic" was a mid-to-late-50s medical show -- for some reason, even though I was a kid, I remember it because of one particular episode with Vera Miles as a young wife who's diagnosed with breast cancer -- and she uses the word 'breast' in the script, which I believe set a precedent at the time, not only for using the word but for dealing with the subject.

And I remember those first four westerns, they were all from the Warner Bros. 'stable'. Especially 'Marverick', of course, because it was the first time anyone ever used an anti-heroic concept as the main character in a show. I can still remember how every weekend we would all gather around this dinky little 11" b&w set, and my mom would fix cheeseburgers and fries and we'd all watch Maverick.

And, of course, the year it came out, all the guys wanted to own a Lucas McCain "Rifleman" rifle with the rapid-fire lobe on the lever.

Cracked me up years later to learn that the actor who'd played his son had gone on to star in porno flicks.
