Go buy an economics book and you'll have your answer..

You honestly think only 1 and only 1 BP is interested in any given biotech? Your theory would only work in that manner..

The moment a biotech looks attractive from a IP and price standpoint, there will be buyers.. multiple buyers means that you can't just wait until the company is on it's knees, and then swoop in and buy it on the scrap heap..

The Bear Sterns situation is COMPLETELY unrelated..
