Jatropha doesn't even make up 100th of a percent of the worlds oil needs and it will take 20 - 30 years or so for it to even think about competing with oil. Let's see. That big announcement by BP about investing in jatrpha, which was about a year ago, resulted in not one single mention of the project on their website. Go have a look. Not only that but they don't even mention the word Jatropha once on the entire site. Jatropha is not the majic bullet for the worlds oil need now nor in the future. Good luck on that one.
