Bobs, When I stated investing in AMD again in 1999 it was largely done on the promise of the triple piped FPU in the soon to be Athlon. At the time I figured in 4 or 5 years AMD might be able to take 30% to 35% of the CPU market and be fabulously profitable.

Given that in that time frame, AMD never came close to the 30% to 35% marketshare that you expected, and given that AMD wasn't anywhere close to "fabulously profitable" in that same time frame, don't you think your views are just a little skewed?
