I have level 2, this lets me see share price and number of shares per trade as they happen. You can get level 2 from any number of places. Alphatrade is pretty good but they charge 65 bucks a month if you include the pink sheet level 2 also. Although typically, the pinks are so low priced, you can buy a gazillion shares and so it doesn't take much price increase to make "significant" profits. And so cover or recoup the 65 bucks a month cost. Who cares if it costs 65 bucks a month if you are making 1000, 2000, or a "bunch of money" per trade?

E*Turd (E*Trade) also now includes level 2 for pinks if you have the E*Turd Pro capability on your account, you get that by executing a minimum number of trades per quarter through your E*Turd account.

In my not very humble opinion (sometimes not very humble) regarding brokers/trading they are all just as bad. I have been online trading since late 1995, originally opened my account with E*Trade, they have "screwed me over" enough times and cost me money enough times they shall forever unto Eternity be E*Turds in my opinion. But I have had accounts at Ameritrade (aka Ameriturd) and a day trader brokerage out of California, Southwest something, it's been a while since I did that though, I'd have to go look them up in my paperwork. That company had their own trading platform. When I put in buys and sells using that platform, I appeared to be a Market Maker on level 2. I have had at least one other account that I can recall with another small time brokerage. Like I say, in my opinion, they are all just as bad.

I know this all way more information than you asked for, sorry for cluttering up the board with my drivel.
