I was only calling it the Spitzer rally in echo of Tomm's comment, not out of personal belief. (Tomm later posted he was joking.) I think the real impact is nil. I was, however, initially curious whether Tomm was at all serious in dubbing the bump a "Spitzer rally" and had asked for his thinking, that's all.

I suspect liquidity news had a bigger impact, for example.
