Possibly, this information was merely disseminated as a way for Marconette and others to publicly wash their hands of Titan, since they are now involved in other ventures which could be tainted by all the unfinished business with Titan.
Finally, I can't refrain from noting that all the posts I have made over the last year about the fictitious Bulldog "settlement", the fictitious Eberle "hook-up", and the other matters covered (or not covered--Kern County, anyone?) in the press release have been dead accurate, while the denials they drew from some others here were dead wrong.
