I didn't mean to start a big debate, and I doubt that I would get lost. I have been wandering forests my whole life from IL to oregon and many places in between. I am not a tree hugger either, although I respect nature. My point originally that I was trying to make is , making fuel from trees is like getting water from a cactus compared to other natural resources. The so called green companies we will soon figure out are not so green, especially if you have to cut down living trees for an alternative fuel. It may be more suited to your terrain than growing corn I am sure, but it is not a long term answer to the problem. this company will probably do very well, and it's shareholders will most likely prosper from their actions, but in my kid's lifetimes those types of powerplants will be abandoned for a better way.
