The surprise for me was not that they did the demo, but that they are sampling to customers. Shanghai might not be that far behind Nehalem. I still doubt their process is going to allow much speed upside and I don't think they have any prayer of recapturing the performance crown. Maybe it will give them same cost advanatges v.s Barcelona. What is it, ~15% smaller die?
