I also heard Tel Aviv was where Identa do a lot of there testing. For non-Israelis Tel Aviv is the major tech center for Israel, that is why the Russians were in Tel Aviv. Not because of only Identa they were shopping around all the fascinating little tech ventures. Tel Aviv is much like a Silicon Valley in the US. I have not heard the product was not authorized in Israel though in fact thought I had heard this was one of the first places it passed for obvious reasons. Israel sunk a lot of funding into the startup process including major tax breaks for ten years but they had to qualify first with seed money. This is where Alliance got it's founding shares probably through Baruch Glatstein word of mouth but I'd be guessing there.
Also Woody is right in his hunch the plant in Jtown is hard to find. To the point of being stealth in fact extremely unassuming again for obvious reasons. This we heard years ago from an American whose sister went to visit the plant while on vacation there. She was treated like royalty apparently they could not have been nicer but she could have walked right past the entrance not knowing! Again tsafi is spot on the plant employees have since increased this was disclosed in a PR quite some time ago.
