i don't now either. the unfortunate thing is that beebe could not find accredited investors to sell the stock to and have them hold instead of dumping right away. there are many accredited investors out there that hunt for startup companies, after all that's the investors dream, get in at the ground floor and enjoy the ride, get out at 3rd, 5th, 20th floor. however, to have those guys involved you need a very detailed and precise business plan which beebe has never had one put together. delays, cancelations, changes in plan every other day, those don't attract serious investors but scares them away.
so he got no choice but to sell at a high discount - i would guess - to whatever accredited investors were willing to give him money. now with a whole bunch of stock, they can play the stock whichever way they want, they can almost completly controll trading. most would try to get rid of the stock as soon as possible, some would play it until they get borred. they can short it, then load at the bottom - just like last week - then stop selling for a day or two and run it up for a double or a triple, then go back to the regular selling ...
