For those in the U.S., Microsoft is cutting prices..

Right on the heels of the EU slapping them with another fine, I am wondering if this is a "synthetic" increase in MSFT's prices to Europeans?

EU will realize the US (and its companies) have been playing the capitalist game much longer and that markets have a way of offsetting unexpected costs in certain ways. Poor Europeans, paying for their own stupidity.
