Rascals International Opens First Mega Entertainment Complex and Generated Approximately $95,000 in Revenue First Weekend

MONTCLAIR, N.J., Mar 29, 2004 (PRIMEZONE via COMTEX) -- Rascals International Inc. ( RSCA ) announced today that it has opened one of its first mega-entertainment complexs, Headliners Entertainment Resorts, which will feature the Rascals Comedy Club, a nightclub and the Cactus Lounge. This 30,000 square foot club, opened in Jackson, Mississippi, and generated approximately $95,000 in its first weekend with well over 6,000 people walking through its doors over a 3 day period. This is the first of three mega-entertainment complexes scheduled for construction by Rascals during the next twelve months. Additionally, the Company's recently announced transaction to acquire 100% ownership of a nationally known chain of popular nightclubs, is proceeding as expected to close prior to the end of the second calendar quarter of 2004.
