I think this new plan is pretty good for someone like me ... Considering my RESP / RRSP results vs contributions.. I like it and can get my kids going on this early... The problem I think is too many (myself included) have too much in RRSPs and too little outside... granted I paid off my house so that will change ... I like the idea..

The budget says "the net after-tax rates of return on TFSA and RRSP savings are equivalent when effective tax rates are the same at the time of contribution and withdrawal." That is, the value of the tax deduction from RRSP contributions is equivalent to the value of withdrawing funds tax-free from a TFSA.
doesn't that depend upon how well one does ? My RRSP/RESP gains are far and away superior to the tax deductions / subsidies reeived..... am I missing something here ?

Mostly CASH and yield.. but solar Powered in the future :O)
