The indicated and inferred mineral resource has been estimated based on the radius from the cored drill holes, the thickness and grade of the selected solution mine interval, and the loss factors for unaccounted geologic anomalies assumed to be 25 per cent, areal extraction ratio of 40 per cent, and a loss factor to account for the liquor remaining in the cavern, plant and transport of 10 per cent.

The indicated and inferred mineral resource for the Patience Lake and Belle Plaine potential solution mining intervals is estimated to be:


Indicated mineral resource of 36.8 million tonnes of K2O;


Inferred mineral resource of 360.4 million tonnes of K2O.

If solution mining recovered the potash between the beds, the additional resource would be:


Additional indicated mineral resource of four million tonnes of K2O;


Additional inferred mineral resource of 31.1 million tonnes of K2O.

No measured mineral resource has been estimated because engineering studies have not been completed to establish specific mining horizons, resource recovery, process selection, and preliminary operating and capital costs.
