It is the basketball player Karl Malone that he is friends with. During the conference call last year JD stated him and Karl Malone were friends and Karl invested in the company. You can call JD and ask if you cant find any concrete evidence but he directly stated it during the conference call because someone asked if it was "The Mailman" pro basketball player and JD said yes.
