that these stocks could not be shorted ???
Please list the "rule" you are talkin about.
I'll agree, saps like you and ME can NOT short
these stocks but they get shorted EVERYDAY.
IN FACT, it's the FLAGERANT disregard for the
rules and the TOTAL LACK of SEC enforcement that
has caused this market to inplode in recent years.
I quit trading them ALL TOGETHER for nearly three
years primarily because of this and I'm NOW very
careful about pinks...I no longer scan for them
AT ALL.
It's JUST recently that they have started to address
the issue with the SHO list. They have even fined
one of two people to make a point but the only point
made is that they are only just now superficially
monoriting this market.
Check out the SHORT page at Pink Sheet.com...the
SHO list is ALWAYS FULL of these companies.
ON THE OTHER HAND...big money shorts companies
like these for a reason...when was the last time
that management lived up to even ONE of their MANY
promises.
All I can say about shorting here is that it has taken
the "investors" completely out of this market. Trade
them if you have the pecans and the SPEEDY skills you
need, it' helps to be clairvoyant too. But if you
are pumping money into these companies with the hope
of holding them until the "move up" you need to seriously
question your reasoning...you have MUCH better odds at
a casino....and you have all those hot babes to look at
there.
