Platina Energy Group announces gas from Kenner#4 well

Feb 25, 2008 (M2 EQUITYBITES via COMTEX) -- Platina Energy Group Inc (OTCBB: PLTG) (Frankfurt: O5Y.F), which is engaged in acquiring proven producing and proven non-producing reserves and other possible reserves, said on 22 February that the Kenner #4 well is now in the completion phase.

The operator, during drilling, reported a particularly long stretch of the Devonian Shale Formation as compared to the other wells. Strong indications of gas were reportedly present from as shallow as 600 feet.

The company stated the drilling rig is now nearing total depth (TD) on Kenner#3 well, with site preparation and permitting for the next well almost complete.
