I dont know about WNBD's pending contracts, but back when I owned my company (residential cabinetry/furniture) we would tag a specific phone number that was included in magazine ads so that it counted the number of incoming calls (calls from the ad). We used these response rates to show builders (prospective clients) the consumer response to our product line and earned several contracts based on the that.

They wanted to know that CONSUMERS were interested in our products before they put us on as a supplier. That way, they knew that we could bring new customers in to thier book of business.

I would not be shocked to hear that HD or others use the same logic with a newer vendor, but I can't speculate beyond that. I will hang on to find out wither way. There are good things coming for this company in my opinion. And if there is some dilution now or in the future that is being used to generate contributing revenue, then I'm on board with that too!
