extremly tough to answer what system do I think gives better returns.

Here are numbers on them. It is up to the individual to decide how to go.
Channel_Players has set target goals for all stocks. Approximately 2.3% up to 3.3% depending on the stock. They are small and they are very consitant on the top players. They are considered 1 day plays unless the stock has not hit goal but is closing near the buy spot from the previous day, in which case it would be carried over to the next day.

Just to show the numbers on the current top Channel_Players

#1 Channel Player has hit 2.88% (+5.76% on cash with margin) target goal
17 of last 21 days (1 month) for 81% consistent
31 of 42 days (2 months) for 74% consistent
46 of 63 days (3 months) for 73% consistent

#2 Channel Player has hit 3.3% (+6.6% on cash with margin) target goal
17 of last 21 days (1 month) for 81% consistent
31 of 42 days (2 months) for 74% consistent
41 of 63 days (3 months) for 65% consistent

#3 Channel Player has hit 3.3% (+6.6% on cash with margin) target goal
17 of last 21 days (1 month) for 81% consistent
27 of 42 days (2 months) for 64% consistent
34 of 63 days (3 months) for 54% consistent

All these stocks have produced consistent good total profits in each of the 1 mo, 2 mo & 3 mo. sections.

Major_Popers are different in that they can be played long or short depending on what the spreadsheets show is the best way to trade them. They are also different in that they have a maximum hold time of 5 days, so the stock might not hit it's goal right away. Say that if it did not hit goal till day 5, & a trader had the patience to hold it till that day, you have achieved a profit, but have also not had the use of those funds to trade other stocks during that time.
If you had the same small target goal of 2.3% up to 3.3%, the history of these shows that they achieve that profit about.

These are the numbers for all Major_Popers going back to Jan 2002 by Day 5
81% hit +2.3%
79% hit _2.5%
77% hit +2.8%
76% hit +3%
74% hit +3.3%

Compare that to just 2004 so far.
73% hit +2.3%
72% hit _2.5%
71% hit +2.8%
69% hit +3%
67% hit +3.3%
Still in all very solid numbers.

But with Major_Poppers there is also the addition of the short side.
For 2004 the shorts have hit within the maximum 5 day hold (again, some could hit the number on Day 1).
85% hit +2.3%
83% hit +2.5%
82% hit +2.8%
80% hit +3%
78% hit +3.3%

Hope that gives some better view of the numbers that can be achieved
