Quite frankly, I really do not believe I am sufficiently educated regards to finance and trading to provide you an intelligent answer.
However, based on my experience not one of the books I've read, including both candlestick analysis and technical indicators, provided elaborate and extensive information regarding the specific indicators.
The most valuable book I've purchased is "Candlestick Charting Explained" by Gregory L. Morris. However, the information provided is quite deceptive, hence I was required to study and modify the strategies and patterns.
I really do not believe any one of the authors are interested in conveying valuable information, they merely provide the same bullshit based on my readings.
