I don't think of BlockBuster when I think to "purchase" a DVD. They rent movies. But I believe the vast potential for PCLI technology is the consumer who hears of a title, say, "Requiem for a Dream," and is unable to find it at his local store. Since I watch a lot of smaller, independent films, I get shut down a lot when DVD shopping at Best Buy or Target. However, if I could go online, chose the titles and pick them up at the WalGreens three blocks from me... that's a tremendous service for me.

I own over 1500 DVD titles and don't believe I'm all that uncommon anymore. At $9.95- $16.95, and be assured of getting exactly what I want... I'm a customer for PCLI kiosks.
