Why is ERHE at the O&G Conference?
I'll repost from a month ago below, but in short, it's political. Nigeria's president was the keynote speaker. ERHE/Offor want some publicity in his home country. Someone from the President's office probably called EO and said, "we're recruiting sponsors for the 08 conference, can you help out?" Offor said "sure" and here we are. No more, no less.

I do think it's a big stretch to believe that this would be the event at which EREH would make any company announcements!

Waiting for the mythical rig of opportunity....

Ok, I'll volunteer to be the contrarian today.

I don't think anything of substance will come out of the February Conference. Here's why.
1. To be a conference exhibitor or sponsor, you need to register/pay months in advance. Probably 4, 5 or more...back in November was probably the latest to secure a sponsor's spot.
2. I don't see ERHE having the forsight to do a "deal" and determine that they'll wait four months to announce it at a conference!
3. The stock price shows no, absolutely no indication that any kind of big announcement is forthcoming. We drifted down to 17 cents for heavens sake! This is double confirmed by depressing volume. (IMO watch the volume...that's what will indicate that something's REALLY up)

I believe that we're a sponsor because of political ties and payback to Nigerian officials, especially the keynote speaker.

In the end, however, I hope you are right and I'm wrong.
