You are again correct. I was talking about shorting in general....both legal and illegal. With what I was told in Manhattan, there was no need to see if shares were available to short.
I remember that once only in my life I tried to short a stock...SNAPPLE...it was at some ridiculously high price and I wasn't able to do it because I was told that there were no shares available. I mentioned that experience to the bigwig in Manhattan and he just laughed and said, "With the kind of shorting that I'm telling you about, you don't need shares."
So once again, to all who doubt that it can be done...it CAN be done and for what other reason would the bashers be on here 24/7? Because they care about the stockholder? BULL HOCKEY!!! Because they have nothing better to do with their time? BULL HOCKEY again! There is one and ONLY one reason for the attention they are paying to this stock and that one reason is MONEY!!! We all know it. And what is sad is that many times they succeed. But not this time. Not..this..time.
True, they have helped to bring the price way down, but they will not bankrupt or destroy this company. The price will come back up because progress is being made and dreams do come true.
