Chevdawg18 I disagree,

For a real company to try to "adjust" the shareprice to a number that is more favorable to shareholders is to ignore the very principle of a free market where the buyers and sellers determine the prices for trades.

The ONLY influence they should be striving for is productivity, profit, and growth with the honest communication of those to the public. Steve Haag has responded in that line.

Calling the company and complaining about market volatility can only be interpreted as a shareholder saying either
1- I'm scared, please say something nice so I won't be scared
or 2- Work harder, make me more money NOW

In either case it implies that the caller is dissatisfied with the management of the company. If that is truly the case, the best course of action is to sell and find a company that spends more of its effort on the shareprice rather than fundamentals.

It seems a bit rough lately.
