The primary problem is it was "Bushes" stand and not the entire world's. The botched accusations of WMDs in Iraq (which if America would just come out and say they know it for a fact because we sold them the weapons to ward off the Russians and Iranians during the Russian war with Afghanistan). . .the American people would at least have some hard evidence of the accusations made public.

Anyone that couldn't see that Bush, Cheney and Powell were a "war machine" headed into office. . .had some serious blinders on. Had Bush never made it into office. . .the WTC would probably still be standing.
