I called my congressman, Rep. Gene Taylor of Mississippi, last week. I talked to his head office administrator for about 45 minutes. I told him about the free West Nile Virus Clinical Trials that GenoMed was conducting and he was extremely interested. I told him about the Time article that goes into detail about the kinds of protocols that Dr. M is using and about the remarkable success rate Dr. M had last year with his small scale clinical trials. He replied that he knew they had the copy of Time in the office but that he hadn't read it. He said he definitely would read the article. I told him that the GenoMed website gave the details concerning the trials.

Like the rest of the country, Mississippi is helpless against West Nile and there were many cases reported last year. All we can do is wear long clothes, which no one does, and spray ourselves down with bug repellent, which few people do on a consistent basis. GenoMed's clinical trial is free and could save a significant number of lives and spare a lot of pain and anguish. I'm going to write Rep. Taylor a follow-up letter tonight. I recommend everyone doing the same with their elected officials. If this clinical trial gets a big response, it could put GenoMed on the map and save lives.
