Revenues of Iraq, and mechanisms of formation of the new government would be discussed next week

The Executive Board held its regular today, Wednesday, 13-2-2008, at the residence of the President of the Republic of Baghdad, and discussed the economic situation and service in Iraq, where

His Excellency the President stressed the need to activate the governmental institutions to be able to accelerate the delivery of services to citizens and meet their needs and commensurate with the income of the great Iraq, and the need to invest these resources to serve the citizens and various service facilities.

The meeting addressed the reality of economic and financial situation of the country, and how to develop long-term programmes aimed at strengthening the infrastructure of the Iraqi economy, and in this regard decided to hold further meetings with Iraqi experts and competent economic commissions for the development of the Iraqi economy.

On the other, meeting addressed the political status of the state and the political process and discussed the topic of the new government and the mechanisms that could be adopted to get a team effective government, and was awarded the Prime Minister notice a week to allow him to consider the formation mechanisms of the government and discussion of the topic at the next meeting.
