excel,

Very well said, and that's when we'll see the true separation. Paul refers to the rapture in Thessalonians. But the dead in Christ will rise first, and those that live will be taken up after.

Within that moment we will be transformed. Until that time, I agree with plugger" we are our worst enemy" the renewing of our mind though instantaneously as we would call revelation, should be a daily crying out against the obvious things which torment us everyday.

We do not have a switch that we can turn off and on when someone offends us, when we see things that are so incorrect, our emotions are on autopilot to respond to things that happen around us. We are truly a very frail child, and can become very childish, selfish, self righteous, justifying, pointing our finger, and becoming downright depressed.

In the parable that Jesus spoke, "Of the great banquet" Seems that the invitations were sent out and all excepted were very excited. But the preparation for the banquet took longer than anticipated, finally when the banquet was ready the doors were opened yet those who had been invited had many excuses why they could not attend, mind you these weren't bad excuses, one said he'd just gotten married in its in time with his new wife, one said it bought some land needed to go and observe it, one said he bought a team of oxen and needed to train them, but when the master of the house or all of these excuses he called out to his servants and he said it opened the banquet to all those who are in the highways and byways go and get them and bring them to feast! He also said, not one of those who was invited shall be allowed in. I meditate on that most often when I think things are taking too long.

When the workings of our Lord our new and exciting, it seems you can't wipe the smile from our face, and with jubilance we earnestly pray and the Lord uses us mightily. But when things take longer than they seem it becomes a burden, doubt, frustration, these three are what cause us to be a reed in the wind tossed to and fro about every wind of doctrine. It's in these times I find myself singing, turn your eyes upon Jesus look full into his wonderful face and the things of earth will grow strangely again in the light of his glory and grace. Then I make sure to watch my spiritual mailbox for the postcard that says" The Banquet Doors Are Open" and no matter what I'm doing I run to the banquet room. I have missed a few banquet in my day and have undergone the consequence, it is my prayer that, when the doors are open that we will all need each other at the gate more excited about the banquet and the things that seem to be so important to us at the time. Love you all, Katie and family are doing wonderful.... thank you for all your prayers. Val smile

,,,just chill, that's what my kids say, seems to work,,,
