Who is going to pay for bottled water for pets in this economy? I am sure the deal was so sweet for this pet store chain that they have nothing to lose in giving it a try. Who is going to fund the marketing of a new consumer item that has such a niche appeal? How will Royal Springs support this product launch campaign? Can they afford a media blitz throughout the Eastern US? How will they provide in-store displays and awareness of this pet water? This takes a strong and well trained group of direct reps or pre-paid contract independent reps. This is not the news I have been looking for.......

And, a contract to sell one hotel unit. How does that qualify as news? Hotels like the Hilton chain have beverage agreements with companies like Coke and Pepsi. These agreements include all catagories of the beverages they bottle. These are multi-million dollar marketing deals where the hotel chain agrees to a 100% compliance in purchasing the entire line of products from a sole beverage supplier (these agreements are offered so that one competitor can lock the other out of key accounts). The amount of private label water a 326 room hotel will buy (in addition to their national beverage contract's branded water) is not news worthy.

I am tired of the lack of business acumen that exists on this board!!!!
