Just planting trees without guidance may not be the answer to your problem. Many colleges and universities have departments that can help with choices, soil conditions, area conditions, etc.

Great idea, Howard. Why not get a college environmental sciences or architecture department involved? They could work with the town and company and call it "landscaping the future" or some such silly academic title.
