That's some good photoshopping. Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't two of the three smokestacks gone now? If so, can you edit them out of the photo?

George P is right: it's important to get the trees to scale.

I would think that the best option would be a fast-growing, densely needles evergreen, possibly a mix of them, for best coverage: pines, firs, arba vitae, that sort of thing. Deciduous trees could be planted, too, and they would eventually catch up.
