The memo from the manager reads as it was her idea to step down, due to conflict in raising her children.
However, she remains on the payroll....essentially a demotion for the sake of the campaign (as I interpret this) after a weekend sweep by the opponent. I find the timing suspect, personally. jmho Why else would a campaign manager leave at the peak of the campaign?
