This post would be too long if I listed everything I like about MPEL, but I will try to mention a few things briefly.

MPEL is mostly owned by sons of 2 of the richest men in the world, and they have spent millions of dollars on the company.

Megaresort casinos just do NOT lose money long-term. Gambling is on the side of the house. In other words, if you own a casino and keep it full of gamblers you are mathematically guaranteed a profit at the tables.

PPS is down partially because the general US market is down (sentiment and fear). PPS was driven down in large part because of the unsuccessful grand opening of their first project (the Crown Macau) last May. It was unsuccessful because the inexperience of Ho and Packer opened the resort prematurely. They have learned their lesson. This will not happen again. We have already seen the bottom, and things will now get better.

The Crown is touted as the first "6-star" resort and caters to high rollers. In its short gambling life, Macau has surpassed the gambling income of even Las Vegas.

Last December 15th, an exclusive deal with A-max was secured to bring VIP gamblers to the Crown. Crown's market share in Macau has more than doubled since then.

The company will prosper from the Crown, but the real reason for investment is MPEL's current and future projects. The City of Dreams, currently under construction and scheduled for completion next year will dwarf anything currently in Macau. COD includes a Hard Rock, a Playboy casino, and a residential complex, among other things.

Rember Wynn? I could have gotten it at $14 after they started construction, and I could have still got in at $40 when it was finished. You can get MPEL at under $12 right now, and its main resort is not even open yet. It can only get better as new projects are completed. MPEL projects are in a growing area.

I could go on, but it is better that you spend the time to research and read on your own. Don't take me as an authority.
Like BX, MPEL is a long term investment (hold at least until after the opening of COD).
