TIGR is the company behind Gametrac, a futuristic feature-packed little gaming device that's received tons and tons of great press coverage since its January unveiling at the 2004 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.

In addition to being a real advanced mobile gaming machine, Gametrac's also an MP3 player; a video player that allows its user to view full-feature films via the unit's SD Card slot; a very versatile messaging facility; and a high-quality digital camera.

Currently, the main players in this mobile gaming arena are Nokia with its N-Gage, Tapwave with it's Zodiac models, Sony with its PSP, and Nintendo with its dual screen DS.

But unlike the others, Gametrac is the only device that utilizes Microsoft's Windows (CE.NET) as its operating system.

The way Sparky here see things, Gametrac is clearly Microsoft's best entry vehicle into this burgeoning mobile gaming market.

So will the world's largest software producer simply sit this one out and not participate in this explosive industry; or will MSFT cut some sort of near-term deal with TIGR?

Looking at recent trading volume, Sparky thinks the street already knows the answer to that question!

TIGR shares are a great buy anywhere near current levels. They closed Tuesday (02/17/04) at 27.5 cents.
