fish..Last night I went to dinner with my daughter and soninlaw and out graddaughter..It was my soninlaws birthday. Now I never have been much on celebrating birthdays personally but it is a big deal with my wife..So anyway at everyones birthday,childeren and grandkids I give them a check for 200.00..I think 25.00 would be the right number...but I found out last night that my wife also gives each of our kids and grandkids 200.00 ..so now we are up to 400.00 each plus my wife buys presents..You can imagin what she does at Christmas..Anyway I thought my daughter would buy dinner since she invited us..but when the bill came..156.00, my wife grabs that too and my daughter didn't object...I just didn't feel thanksgiving in my heart for all that money going out of my bank account because like you, I worked 6 days a week almost all my life and learned to respect the value of things.. Sure hope I am wrong about how I feel..but it is hard for me to understand ..
