I don't remember Wallace making a speech in Silver Spring, but by then I was living in Virginia so it probably escaped me.
But I do remember him being shot in Laurel and then he was taken to Holy Cross Hospital in Silver Spring. I remember that because I had been a patient at Holy Cross a few years before.
Also, I was re-reading your prior post where you mentioned the towns....I think you meant to type MD towns, not VA towns around DC. Easy mistake to make....but Wheaton, Olney, Silver Spring, are all part of Montgomery County, and they're in Maryland.
