When I was a child my mom was Episcopalian. My dad never went to church but he was always good to me. My mom got bornd again in 1970 by then I quit going to church, seem's I couldn't get the hang of being Episcopalian.I was saved in 74

Over the years we have found born-again Catholics and Episcopalians and many other denominations that believe in the death and resurrection of Jesus Baptism of the Holy Spirit, pretty much salvation is I know it.

A few years ago I had a dear friend who is an Episcopalian minister and has been for many years. To go to one of his services was like going to one of my service because he believed in the power of God the person of the Holy Spirit and has a living relationship to Jesus. I don't know if you've been following the Episcopalians and their news as of lately but they have ordained a woman lesbian as a bishop. I don't know much of the history behind all the meetings, but I do know that they had heated arguments at closed-door meetings about the de-appropriation of the Bible.

My friend being a born-again Christian and an Episcopalian priest himself could in no way embrace their particular agreements as they were indoctrinated amongst themselves to what they called bringing a broader span of unity amongst believers. It seemed he and his colleagues those of a Spirit filled adventure went to prayer, your first thought is that they would leave the Episcopalian Church but then they also realize that there was many in the Episcopalian Church thet counted on them.. And so they split off and I'm not sure what type of Episcopalian they are now but I know they're a full Gospel Episcopalian movement.

My first thought when he told me they had ordained a bishop that was a lesbian and they openly proclaimed it was of God,was that he should resign the church and the denomination, they were openly in heresy. But as always through prayer and fasting Jesus' answer was much better than mine. My friend followed after the call of God that was put on his life and though he does not hold to the Episcopalian philosophies, has still made a place for Episcopalians to hear the truth and though he is openly opposed to the heresies of the Episcopalian denomination, he is the one most qualified to speak against it.

He has such a good reputation and so many years with the domination many people will not overlook him, and many are eager to sit and talk with him over the issues of the church. He is truly a call pastor and the Lord uses him very powerfully his services are full of worship they lay hands on the sick and they preach the full Gospel and have a follow-up altar call.

I don't follow the denominations much I am in a nondenominational church but I was in the denominations for quite a few years and was ordained in three Pentecostal denominations. I think it's easy to see that much of the church loves the pathway of least resistance the road is wide and many find it, but they're also those who have been raised up in the domination since they were a child and they need someone to explain the truth to them not in arrogance but in boldness.

When an outsider comes in with a new message to a denomination is often rejected even if it's the truth because those of the denomination are trying to protect it. And it is true there are many people who just looked to be a powerful force in the church not necessarily called of God. I feel freer now than I have ever felt, but I am more ridiculed than I've been mostly by the Pentecostal denominations that I stepped away from. So the days amongst us are difficult to understand, without the direct guidance of the Holy Spirit, and scriptures twisted, to the desires of anyone with a cause, that's always been the case. First and second Peter talk about it, Peter even refers to Paul by name that people take what he says and twisted around for their own demands.

So I do see these organizations as very deceptive and dangerous, and I oppose them often or actually they oppose me but it is the individual that I am concerned about that's who I'm called to. Others are called to other things other places for other purposes, that's why it's so important that we understand the Word of God not only do we read it over in a day on a we ask for the Holy Spirit to reveal it to us day in and day out that we might not be a stumbling block that we might also divide truth and lies. I don't admire my Episcopalian friend and I myself could never stand his post they would listen to nothing I have to say.

Whatsoever things are good whatsoever things are pure whatsoever things are good report think on these things Paul said, but if I saw lamps stuck in one of their fences can bet my life I would do anything to free them. Good post Val smile

,,,just chill, that's what my kids say, seems to work,,,
