Company Signs Memorandum of Understanding With Institute for Nutraceutical Research at Clemson University for Food Safety & Security Issues Worldwide
Produce Safety & Security International, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: PRSF) is pleased to announce that the Company has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Institute for Nutraceutical Research (INR) at Clemson University. Clemson serves as one of the leading agriculture research universities in the U.S. As part of the agreement, both parties will research, develop and test innovative food safety and security technologies needed for a variety of U.S. Government programs including the U.S. Army's Natick Research Laboratory's Combat Feeding Program. Clemson University has more than 100 scientists working on more than 120 projects.
Under the agreement, the INR will conduct research and development in hopes of benefiting each organization's findings using laboratory and field studies. The overall goal is to pursue research opportunities in food safety and security with the U.S. Government and other international entities. The U.S. Army Center for Health promotion and Preventative Medicine can benefit from the combined capabilities of Clemson University and Produce Safety & Security International, Inc.
