Good stuff,another thing to keep in mind, is God was not for a king, the people were. When Samuel was ending his minisrty he went to the people and the people said that none of his sons were worthy to take his place.
Thay wanted a king, Samuel told them what a knig would require of them, But they insisted.
Wonder who Samuels wife was and how many childern he had? Funny how some things are left to just think about. God did give them a king,(He can turn ALL things to good for those who LOVE Him and are called according to His purpose) but some times I wonder what would have happend if they trusted Gods plan, I guess we'll find out when we see Him face to face,, I can't wait, Samual and First Kings are by far my favorite books in the Bible.
