Ian Worden Joins Hythiam as Senior Vice President, Disease Management Operations
Former LifeMasters Executive to Lead Disease Management Operations
LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 30, 2008--Hythiam, Inc. (NASDAQ:HYTM) announced today that healthcare services executive Ian Worden has joined the Company as Senior Vice President, Disease Management Operations. In this capacity, he will oversee the day-to-day operations and expansion of the Company's disease management offering targeted at managed care, self-insured employers, unions and other third party payors.
Prior to joining Hythiam, Worden was Senior Vice President of Strategic Business Operations for LifeMasters Supported SelfCare, Inc., where he was responsible for market positioning, strategic development and maximizing client value of the disease management process by effectively managing contract deliverables. LifeMasters is a leading national provider of health improvement and disease management services. Working with some of the nation's largest health care plans, employers, retirement systems and governmental organizations, including national plans such as Aetna and regional plans such as the Blue Cross Blue Shields, LifeMasters focuses on delivering disease management solutions that improve health outcomes while significantly reducing costs.
