VAUGHAN, ON--(MARKET WIRE)--Feb 1, 2008 -- Reno Gold Corp. (Other OTC:RNGG.PK - News) has named L. Joshua Eikov as an independent member of the company's Board of Directors.

Mr. Eikov is Managing Director of Baron General Capital LLC, a consulting firm that assists public companies (or companies aspiring to be public) with corporate governance, corporate compliance, financial reporting and financial strategies. Josh has served a variety of public and private companies in managerial and investment banking roles and is a graduate of the Advanced Management Program at Harvard University and the Executive Compliance Program at Tulane Law School. Josh has also received a certificate in Negotiation from the University of Windsor Law School. He has held Director positions on the boards of Hurricane Consulting, Team-Defense and KIDS.
