Rich has previously stated on numerous occasions that he would not expand on the progress of mass production due to the competetion in the market.
It is my opinion that we will find out about mass production long after it has started. Why let the competetion know you have made such a leap? Instead of seeing a PR that says "Production has begun" I think we will see "Production was started x number of weeks ago with x number of units already shipped." Quite frankly, I wouldn't be surprised if it already happened. Think about that for a minute.
