Boatman, I think that question needs to be addressed to the reporter. As Far as worthless property, radio stations worth are not in the property they sit on, or the building they are housed in. The real value is in the equipment and License.
Think back when many had radio stations out of their basements. I am sure you can still find this today. A little research would reveal to you where the value comes from.
