I think Stan just gives the company high visibility. He is riding high off the popularity of Marvel's movies. The interesting part is the potential of the company.

There are very few high quality story American cartoons on the market. There seems to be and endless supply of high quality Japanese cartoons entering the US. Most US cartoons are made for kids 10 and younger. A lot of the Japanese cartoons appeal to a much wider audience.

POW just needs a few stories on par with The X-Men and Fantastic Four, having a character like Spiderman is almost unthinkable. Having an action figure line like Pokemon or DragonBall Z would be nice.

I also think POW could have done more with the projects they had. "Mosaic" and "The Condor" both had websites, but you wouldn't know it unless you bought the DVD's. A little advertizing would have helped. Origin comic books for all the contestants on "Who wants to be a superhero?" would have been good advertizing. Either paper comics coming out weekly with every episode or web based comics would not only generated more excitement around the show, but would also have shown POW's partners the value added capability of POW.
