Wreck Tom,

It is nice to see the heartfelt honesty. Wilf and I share different faiths, but the underlying principle is the same and is based on Jesus life...and is quite simple. Show love. Nobody is perfect, however, if one wants to "put on the new personality" that is governed by Love, it makes that one a much better person. Read the amazing example that Jesus put out there for all of us to follow. He was kind to all, respectful to women (not the norm in his day), and open arms with children. He did not lash back at his enemies and even showed concern for them too (when Peter lopped off the soldiers ear, Jesus healed him)...even saying we should love them as well.

It is hard to do sometimes as we all inherently have the tendency to jump to conclusions and speak without thinking. Jesus was the master at using few words, but speaking volumes (read Mat chap 5-7, the most powerful words spoken)...and he never had to apologize.

I think I could speak for all of us here Tom, that we have enjoyed your posts, dreamed big with you and envied your position and, sadly, perhaps even agreed with your point of view regarding the whole dpbm situation and crew....... but your show of humility brings it all back to earth again because, we really do not know what is going on. I can only speak for myself regarding encounters with Wilf...he has always been nice, always been interesting and always polite.

Don't let go of where you are now Tom. It is a huge step that many can not take and you will be a better man for it for the rest of your life. You will view and treat others differently and reap the rewards of such kindness...because it does come back. "All men sin and fall short of the glory of God" says the Bible, but those who try and put in place its principles in life and actually stick with it, rather than just make a hypocritical Sunday visit to church once in a while to be with friends, are better people.....

hope you bring up what you have long believed is down there, and can use it for good.... I'd be willing to guess that Wilf would take you back in a heartbeat if you sat down and talked to him....and if it fits. If nothing else, I'm sure he'd tell you "its all in the past... its done" and move on...good advice for us all....

best,
b
