sungolfer, I've been checking your link with Marty Chenard and find it interesting as it is unbiased straight information without an agenda, so far at least. Do you have a paid membership? In considering the rather massive swings in some of my accounts that are index based, their charting of fund flows could make a substantial difference. I can move my 401K in the day, if done by mid-day, but not at market close as you can with a MF. It has a 1 or 2 day lag sometimes.
