My "mentally-challenged" mind wonders whether this so-called "scam" was intentional for reasons other than the obvious which our superhero saviors have so self-congratulatorily pounced upon.

What conceivable reason would the PNMS people have to associate themselves with such an obvious scam? D'you think it's their way of letting shareholders know that the jig is up?
