Mobilepro Announces New Chairman, President & CEO.
Board of Directors Votes Arne Dunhem into Expanded Role.
ROCKVILLE, MD - May 13, 2002 - Mobilepro Corp. (OTC-BB-MOBL), today announced that Arne Dunhem, President and CEO of Neoreach, Inc., a developer of state-of-the-art modem solutions to support third generation (3G) wireless communication services, has also been named Chairman, President and CEO of Mobilepro. Neoreach is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Mobilepro.
Mr. Dunhem has over 28 years of experience in all aspects of the build-up and growth of high tech companies, especially in the telecommunications industry. He has previously founded, built and successfully sold four U.S. and European telecom companies. The companies include a Swedish nationwide cell phone start-up, a Swedish national local and long distance operation, and a U.S. long distance operator with over 20,000 customers. He has also worked with one of the world's largest networks for satellite communications. His experience with these and other firms encompassed domestic and international business planning, financial turn-around and investment, general management, network operations and planning and general engineering. He was also responsible for raising a commitment for over $300 million in funding for one of Scandinavia's largest telecommunications projects.
Mr. Dunhem joined Neoreach as the new President and CEO in January 2002 and was charged with raising additional capital and taking the Company's development-stage products to market. He was responsible for closing a funding round with a new angel investor in January 2002 and he retained the business and advisory services of local investment banking firm, INFe, Inc., to take the company public through a 'reverse merger.' INFe arranged the merger between Neoreach and Mobilepro Corp., a Chicago-based publicly-reporting company on the OTC Bulletin Board. The merger was effective March 21, 2002.
At the Company's Board of Directors meeting on May 10, 2002, Arne Dunhem was voted Chairman, President and CEO of Mobilepro. He will also maintain his role and duties as President and CEO of Neoreach. Mobilepro's interim President and CEO, Daniel Lozinsky, stated, 'It was the intention to appoint Arne to this additional position when he took the reins at Neoreach, and now that he has accomplished the first major milestone in executing the recent merger, we felt the timing was right for the Company and for him. We enthusiastically support his leadership as we now look toward launching the first of the Company's solutions later this year'. Mr. Lozinsky officially stepped down as interim President and CEO at this Board meeting and will now assume the duties of Senior Vice President of Mobilepro.
Neoreach, founded in 2000, designs state-of-the-art modem solutions specifically to enable 3G wireless communications. The Company believes that these solutions are critical components of the wireless network operators' base stations and the new consumer handsets that will enable 3G communications.
