My whole problem with gaps is people think the prices go down "because" of gaps. They seem to throw all other market forces out the window and come to the conclusion that it was the gap that caused the PPS to decline (opposed to dilution, insider selling, bad news, etc). Kinda like it is some sort of magnet sitting down there that is always trying to stuck the PPS back down.

I guess it is best said like this, I have no problem with the gaps, but I do have a major disagreement with the people who say gaps are what causes the PPS to drop and disregard all other market forces.

My personal favorite is when people point out a gap, then the stock runs huge %'s over a few months, and then, for whatever reason, the PPS falls and closes the gap, and then people say, "seeeeeeeeee, I told you the gap would fill", as if they had predicted the future because it was a gap that caused the decline....

Anyways, thanks for the civil little debate, going about things maturely is always the more enjoyable way :)
